Woman charged following robbery in Norwich

Police have charged a woman in connection with a robbery in Norwich.

Officers were called to Quebec Road yesterday (Thursday 10 September) at 7:22am to a report that a woman had entered a shop with a knife and threatened members of staff and demanded money.

Officers arrived on scene shortly after and a woman in her 50s was arrested on suspicion of robbery and taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

Shakline Caccamo, 51, of Albert Place, Norwich has subsequently been charged with attempted robbery and possession of a knife blade in a public place.

She appeared in court this morning (Friday 11 September) where she was remanded into custody ahead of her next appearance at Norwich Crown Court on 9 October 2026.
